The multi-def type closure joint was specifically developed for large-diameter pipelines with a diameter of 2000 mm or more.
The flexible expansion joint for large diameters (φ2400 and above) had economic issues due to the structure of its airtight mechanism. Therefore, the Multi-Def was developed for large diameters. We succeeded in changing the structure of the automatic rubber ring, allowing for the economical and reliable absorption of expansion and eccentricity in large diameter piping.
